Before your Tattoo

IIn order for me to best serve you, please take a moment to see how to prepare for your tattoo. If you have any questions, feel free to visit the Contac​t page and reach out. 

If you're sick or recovering from illness, please reschedule. Tattooing while unwell can affect healing and your comfort.​

What to Bring

Government Issued  Identification

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (you must be 18 or older unless accompanied by a parent/legal guardian with proper documentation).

For Minors - Under the age of 18

Parent/Legal Guardian & Minor:

Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of guardianship. Parent/Legal Guardian must be present in the duration of the entire session.

Birth Certificate

Legal Documents (Proving Guardianship)

Photo ID

Driver's License/Permit (Minor)

State ID

School ID (Minor)

Passport

Hydrate 

  Hydrate well the day before and the day of your tattoo. Hydrated skin takes ink better and heals faster.

Please Eat 

Eat a full meal 1–2 hours before your appointment. Low blood sugar can cause lightheadedness or fainting.  

Getting your Rest

Get a good night's sleep the night before. Being rested helps your body handle long sessions and pain better.  

 Avoid Drugs & Alcohol

  Avoid alcohol, drugs, or blood thinners (including aspirin or ibuprofen) for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. These can thin your blood and increase bleeding.  

 Moisturize

Moisturize your skin leading up to your appointment, but do not apply lotion on the day of.  

Please Dress Accordingly

  Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.

 Optional

  Feel free to bring water, snacks, headphones, or something to pass the time, especially for longer sessions.
